The North Carolina Public Transportation Association (NCPTA) is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as its next Executive Director. This is your opportunity to advance “Excellence in Public Transportation” while shaping mobility for communities across North Carolina.
NCPTA is the statewide voice for more than 90 public transportation systems serving all 100 counties, along with nearly 100 business and community partners. Together, we advocate for safe, accessible, and reliable transportation that connects people to employment, healthcare, education, and opportunity.
As Executive Director, you will provide strategic leadership, champion legislative advocacy, build influential partnerships, grow member engagement, and guide the Association’s long-term success. Working with an engaged Board of Directors and key transportation stakeholders, you will help shape policies and initiatives that improve quality of life throughout the state.
We’re looking for a collaborative, visionary leader with public transportation experience, exceptional communication skills, strategic insight, and a passion for serving communities. Salary range: $85,000 – $120,000.
